Khris Francis, a true native Californian, was raised on the central coast and has achieved most of his success as a hilarious stand-up and sit-down comedian, performing in every major city in the United States and Canada. In 1999, Khris was hand picked by producers Breck Wall and Patrick Maes to star and headine in the show PASSION 2000. PASSION ran for one year at Harvey’s Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. PASSION was selected as the Best Revue Of The Year by a Reader’s poll and by The Tahoe Tribune’s Denise Sloan. The reviews for PASSION 2000 were incredible as Khris was singled out with raves. In 2005, Francis moved across the street in Lake Tahoe to perform in the Caesar’s Circus Maximus showroom, the largest showroom in Tahoe. The show was called PASSION XXTREME and, once again, garnered astonishing reviews helping the show to run over a year. In 2004, Khris performed in Las Vegas for the first time and, in an unheard of feat, for a newcomer, he headlined at the world famous Riviera Hotel and Casino’s Comedy Club with his name in red letters over the Las Vegas Strip. Khris Francis performed for seventeen summer seasons in Provincetown, MA on Cape Cod. And in 2005, he moved his show to the southern seacoast of Maine in the town of Ogunquit. With spectacular results, sold-out shows nightly, it is the most popular comedy show in the entire state. The Khris Francis experience is a combination of stand-up, poking fun at the world and himself as well as a Don Rickles style of audience ribbing. He also uses music in his act to make fun of very famous and infamous people. He does dead-on vocal impersonations of some very famous singers like Sonny & Cher, Neil Diamond, and Johnny Mathis. Khris ends his show when he asks the audience to make up a song title, and he writes the song on stage to the side-splitting amusement of all. Khris divides his time between living in Ogunquit, Maine, and California. Khris looks forward to working with James Horan and Nick Cleveland at 02 in the 2010 Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons with continued success in Ogunquit. |
